Prerequisites:
Participants must have completed at least one of the following:

• Stop the Bleed (B-Con)
• Fort Worth Combatives Civilian Trauma or Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Active Bystander)
• Equivalent trauma/medical responder course

This Improvised Trauma Add-On Course is designed for graduates of Stop the Bleed, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care: Active Bystander, or equivalent trauma training.

Building on your foundational skills, this course focuses on creativity, adaptability, and decisive action under stress.

Who Should Attend
This class is ideal for those who have completed a basic trauma class and want to expand their skills for field or resource-limited environments — including outdoor enthusiasts, concealed carriers, first responders, or anyone responsible for others in dynamic settings.

Course Highlights

• Refresher & Skills Review: Quick review of essential bleeding control, airway management, and casualty assessment.

• Extraction, Carries & Drags: Practical, efficient methods to move injured individuals to safety with limited help or equipment.

• Improvised Bleeding Control: Learn to use belts, clothing, towels, and other everyday materials to build effective tourniquets and pressure dressings.

• Improvised Airway & Breathing Management: Work with common items to support airway position, seal chest wounds, and assist breathing.

• Hands-On, Scenario-Based Learning: This course emphasizes realism - you’ll work through simulated incidents requiring fast, adaptive problem-solving using what’s on hand.

Expert Instruction:
Your training will be presented by Nationally and State Certified EMT, Texas License to Carry for First Responders Instructor, Bleeding Control (B-Con), Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) certified instructor, Tactical Medical Solutions® Associate Trainer, Texas State Certified SWAT Medic graduate, Personal Protection Officer, and C-TECC Recognized Education Partner Robert Klenka.
